Meantime

Winter 2022 & Summer 2023, Institute of Contemporary Art San Francisco

My role: concept, curation, project management, budget, installation, program design, communications, marketing, oversee graphic design.

An ongoing series of pop-ups, performances, artist residencies, and workshops taking place during "meantime" periods at the museum - between construction phases and between exhibition installations.
At the ICA SF we consistently heard from our creative community that access to space was critical. In the spirit of reciprocity and collaboration, Meantime was a way to provide space and support to a variety of communities in the Bay Area in the hope of fostering lasting partnerships.

The inaugural Meantime program included a museum-wide installation by Oakland-based artist Chris Martin as well as a merch line. For the second iteration I expanded the program with the inclusion of six on-site artist residencies.
