Christine Koppes is an independent curator, art consultant, writer, and creative producer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. As the founder of Christine Koppes Art Consulting LLC, she works with artists, museums, cultural organizations, and creative partners to develop exhibitions, public art commissions, interdisciplinary projects, and community-centered programs.

Her recent work includes developing the Artists In Residence program for Outside Lands, curating an exhibition for the Palo Alto Art Center, and producing Emma Fineman’s The Genesis Project, an interdisciplinary installation and performance project presented at Grace Cathedral. She also advises artists on grants, proposals, professional strategy, and the development of ambitious new work.

Previously, Christine held curatorial leadership roles at the Institute of Contemporary Art San Francisco and the Institute of Contemporary Art San José, where she worked closely with emerging and mid-career artists and developed exhibitions and programs addressing the urgent questions of our time. She began her curatorial career at Bedford Gallery and holds a BA in Art History from the University of California, Berkeley.
