Christine Koppes is an independent curator, art consultant, writer, and creative producer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She works with artists and cultural organizations to develop exhibitions, public art commissions, interdisciplinary projects, and compelling narratives around contemporary art.

A woman with short brown hair wearing a dark top and black wide-leg pants is holding a young girl in a red sweater and white shorts at an art gallery. The background features a large framed artwork of stylized purple grapes and vines.

Bringing together curatorial vision, strategic guidance, and hands-on production, Christine supports projects from early concept development through fundraising, writing, partnerships, installation, and public presentation.

Christine’s recent work includes founding and curating Outside Lands Artists in Residence, producing Emma Fineman’s interdisciplinary Genesis Project at Grace Cathedral, and curating Live the Moment Light at the Palo Alto Art Center. She also advises artists on grants, proposals, professional strategy, and the development of ambitious new work, and writes exhibition texts that make complex ideas accessible to broad audiences.
